Volunteer Leadership Engagement

Seth Kahan works to help company's with organizational change management and organizational culture change. He also helps individuals develop the leadership styles and skills they need to be Change Leaders within their organizations.

1. Gather Volunteer Leadership Input Under the direction of the President, CEO, and Membership Director, conduct a series of interviews including volunteer leaders at all levels of the organization, with special attention to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership capacity at the local and global scale. Analyze and compile a report which identifies their concerns, intentions, and aspirations for the organization going forward.

2. Conduct Two Strategic Engagement Sessions Working with the Senior Team, design & lead two volunteer leadership events. The purpose of each is to understand the points-of-view, express appreciation for continued contributions, and create a formal mechanism for volunteer guidance as the organization continues to expand. The first event is to take place in the USA, and convene longtime leaders in the North American volunteer community on the subject of continued growth. The second is to take place in Europe and convene representatives from all countries where the organization is currently expanding.

3. Provide Strategic Guidance on Continued Volunteer Engagement Develop and present a set of recommendations to the leadership of the organization which identifies the unique opportunities available by continuing to engage volunteer leaders in the strategic planning and implementation of the organization's growth. Involve the volunteer leaders in the development and presentation. Make the case for resources to be dedicated to those activities which further expansion benefitting both existing and new members on a global scale. Include a knowledge management component that integrates with the organization's Strategic Knowledge Map for the Future.
